One Point of Contact in Africa’s Supply Chains: Your Questions Answered

Share Article

February 23, 2026

Q: Why do shipments into Africa feel more complicated than anywhere else?
A:
Because the region adds layers of unpredictability most clients do not see coming: unexpected port congestion, shifting customs rules, varying road conditions, and different authorities at every step. Even a simple shipment can involve shipping lines, port operators, trucking companies, border posts, and local agencies — all working independently.

Q: Why do I get different answers from different people?
A:
Because each stakeholder only sees their part of the chain. A carrier may tell you one thing, the port another, and the trucking company something else entirely. Without someone coordinating the full flow, you end up with conflicting information, delays, and no clear status of your cargo.

Q: Who am I supposed to call when something changes?
A:
With us, the answer is simple: just us.
You do not need to contact the shipping line, customs, the trucker, the port, the border, or the local authorities. We speak to them all, coordinate the timeline, and give you one confirmed update — not ten different ones.

Q: What does “one point of contact” actually mean?
A:
It means exactly this: You talk to one person. We talk to everyone else.
Your account manager handles the entire flow, from the vessel’s departure to final delivery, including customs, clearance, last-mile transport, and cross-border coordination.

Q: How does this help specifically in West and Central Africa?
A:
Because in Africa, the unexpected is normal. Ports like Conakry, Freetown and others can face sudden congestion. Roads can slow down overnight due to weather or condition changes. Customs practices vary not just by country, but sometimes by region. Our teams on the ground understand these changes and act before they become delays — while keeping you fully informed.

Q: What if the planned corridor stops moving?
A:
We switch to one that does. Whether it’s rerouting from one port to another or shifting to an entirely different corridor, we evaluate the region in real time. You won’t have to coordinate the change or track new stakeholders — we handle the whole transition for you.

Q: I do not have a logistics background. Will this still make sense to me?
A:
Absolutely. We translate complex supply chain situations into simple, clear updates. One message. One status. One next step. No jargon, no noise, no chasing.

Q: What makes your model different from typical forwarders?
A:
Many providers operate country by country. Their Guinea office does not talk to Ghana. Their Ghana office does not talk to Liberia.
We work as one regional team, coordinating across borders to reduce your complexity and keep your cargo moving.

Q: What’s the biggest benefit for me?
A:

✔ One contact
✔ One flow
✔ One clear version of the truth
✔ Less chaos, fewer delays
✔ A supply chain that works — even when the region does not.

Q: So what do I actually need to do?
A:
Just talk to us. We will manage the rest.
